The couple finally decided to end their two year marriage in a dramatic showdown after Michelle (played by Kym Marsh) missed marriage counselling to spend a night with Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill), following a devastating turn of events.
Last year, the pair went through a heartbreaking stillbirth and then Michelle discovered her husband Steve McDonald (Simon Greyson) had cheated on her and fathered Leanne Battersby’s (Jane Danson) baby.
And now actress Kym has revealed there is no hope for Michelle and Steve after his infidelity.
