GETTY

Police have raced to Prince's Street to deal with a suspicious vehicle parked outside a busy station

Specialist police units are currently dealing with a suspicious car parked on Prince's Street near Bank Station.

The road has been shut while officers try to find out whether or not the vehicle poses a terrorist threat.

The street is opposite the Bank of England and located immediately outside Bank Station, which is one of London's busiest tube stops.

Bank Station was evacuated in December when a man with a knife was seen boarding a tube.

Armed police moved in to detain the suspect, but he was never captured.
