Henri Lansbury will be Steve Bruce's second signing at Aston Villa
Henri Lansbury has just six months remaining on his current contract with Nottingham Forest and has been attracting interest from a number of Championship clubs.

Lansbury has not featured for Forest in eight games as the two club worked on a deal behind the scenes.

And according to Nottingham Post correspondent Paul Taylor and The Telegraph's John Percy, a £3m deal has been agreed and a medical will happen this evening.
"Henri Lansbury will undergo a medical at Villa this evening… he might have been willing to play for Newcastle this weekend… but now won't," Taylor tweeted.
Percy added: "Aston Villa are close to signing Henri Lansbury from Newcastle. £3m deal could be completed in the next 24 hours."

Lansbury will be Steve Bruce’s second January signing, having already brought in Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 26-year-old has been a stand-out player for Forest this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists for the Championship strugglers.
Forest currently sit in 20th place in the table - four points clear of the relegation zone.
