After a last-gasp 2-1 win over Burnley on Sunday, the Arsenal players were in the mood to celebrate.

Last night, the Gunners squad went out for dinner in order to do a bit of bonding.

Various pictures were uploaded by some of the players onto their Instagram and Twitter accounts.

But there was one noticeable absentee - Mesut Ozil.

The 28-year-old, Swedish paper Aftonbladet, reported, was spotted shopping in a Gothenburg mall.

Although it is unclear what he was doing there, it may be that Arsene Wenger had granted him a short break to keep his key man fresh for the rest of the campaign.

However, Wenger has yet to make a decision on whether to rest Ozil for his side’s FA Cup encounter against Southampton on Saturday (5:30pm).

After Southampton, the Gunners face Watford three days later before they take on title rivals Chelsea on February 4.
