However, it seems that the Frenchman has been offered an escape route to end his 20-year stint in north London.
The Sun claim PSG have made a two-year contract offer, although it is unclear how much this offer is for.
It is said Wenger is seen as the ideal man to succeed Unai Emery.
Moreover, PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is determined to land Wenger, as he is convinced he can take the club to the next level following a disappointing campaign for Emery, especially in light of the Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona.
PSG made approaches for Wenger in the past, however he rejected their overtures.
Wenger has already suggested he still has a few years left in management.
But it remains to be seen whether the 67-year-old will up sticks and return to his native France.
