STUDIO WILDCARD
ARK Survival Evolved PS4 and Xbox One versions are being updated very soon
The two consoles were just updated with a heap of new content which brings them more in line with what is currently being offered on the PC.
This included a new ranges of dinosaurs to tame or run away from, as well as two new underwater cave networks to check out.
However, while the new patches appeared to rollout without too much drama, it appears a new bug may have also been included.
A new “Worldend” bug has been flagged by the studio, which has led to many players reporting game-breaking crashes when trying to load into the game.
It’s apparently caused by the Pegomastax, the recently added, a relatively harmless herbivore who prefers to live alone and gorges on just about any plants it can find.

ARK Survival Evolved recently added a collection of new dinos to the PS4 and Xbox One versions
This problem apparently causes issues with savefiles and is being dealt with by Studio Wildcard in the coming days.
“Good news guys, the 'WorldEnd' crash on Xbox and PS4 is fixed and we're submitting emergency patches to Microsoft/Sony,” a message from Studio Wildcard confirms.
“The crash is related to carrying Pegomastax, if your savefile does happen to crash out - it will be fixed once the patch has been released.
“We're hoping this can happen tomorrow, if not Monday/early next week.
“We'll be deploying the patch on our Official servers and PC game shortly.”
Here’s the full description from the pesky dino causing all the trouble: “Life ain't easy when you're at the bottom of the food chain on carnivore-filled islands, just ask the Pegomastax.

The Tek Tier will let you experiment with DNA recombination via the Cloning Chamber, what new combos await?
“This is a relatively harmless herbivore who prefers to live alone and gorges on just about any plants it can find. Far from the definition of "pretty," Pegomastax features a nasty looking beak (with tusks for extra effect!) and feathers, making him a unique sight on the island.
“Some tribes keep a few Pegomastax around, as they are excellent scavengers who collect an extraordinary quantity of seeds and berries, while also handily gathering the rare Flowers, Mushrooms, and other ingredients necessary to cook up unusual concoctions.”
It appears that those tribes who have tamed one of these new creatures may be the ones suffering from the new crash bug troubles.
Hopefully all of those affected will have seen the patches rolled out by later today, any long spell away from the game can leave your base and tribal lands open to being wiped.
