Real Madrid nearly signed David De Gea from Manchester United on deadline day in the summer of 2015 only for paperwork problems to scupper the move.
De Gea has since signed a new contract at Old Trafford keeping him at the club until 2019.
And according to reports in Spain, the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper remains a target for Real Madrid.

But Spanish outlet Diariogol say while Real president Perez wants to sign De Gea this summer, Zidane does not.
The Real boss wants to strengthen his squad in other areas, with the likes of Pepe, Fabio Coentrao, James Rodriguez, Isco, Alvaro Morata, Karim Benzema and even Cristiano Ronaldo potential exits.
Manchester United are said to have put a £43million price tag on De Gea.

Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez apparently think differently about David De Gea

United paid a British record £17.8m for a goalkeeper when they signed the 26-year-old from Atletico in 2011.
Diariogol add Zidane would prefer to bring Chelsea shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois to the Bernabeu over De Gea.
The Spain international has made 32 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side this season.
