The battle to win the most views hit a whole new extreme level when Lena Nersesian, from California, announced her controversial plan on the video sharing website.
Known under the account name 'Lena The Plug', she said: "You may or may not have heard that I am planning on making a sex tape when I hit a million subscribers."
Ms Nersesian, who is known for posting revealing pictures of herself in underwear, said she has been approached by numerous porn websites.

The promise sent Ms Nersesian's YouTube fans into a frenzy as she teased them by flashing her bottom for the camera.
She added: “I have been approached to do porn multiple times in the last year, putting provocative pictures on the Internet will get you such offers but it's never been something I've been interested in, or tempted by.
"I don't want to do porn and I really have no interest in doing it.
“But a sex tape with someone that I'm seeing and totally comfortable having sex with – that sounds cool to me.”

However, the clip has caused outrage, with one user criticising her plan, saying: “Who do you feel the need to do this to get subs?
“How about you make actual content that doesn’t bore people instead of trying to use your body you be a YouTube sensation.”
