Tiphaine Auzière is the youngest daughter of Mr Macron's wife Brigitte Trogneux
Tiphaine Auzière is the youngest daughter of Ms Trogneux – the wife of France’s President-elect Emmanuel Macron – who has faced a series of sexist and ageist abuse in recent weeks.
Politicians, journalists and even strangers have stepped up in defence of the former teacher, who at 64-years-old is 24 years her husband’s senior.
And now her 32-year-old lawyer daughter has joined the lineup, claiming critics are just jealous of her mother’s success.
Speaking to BFMTV, Ms Auzière said: "I don't want to give credence to people who do this kind of thing."

The married mother-of-two branded the attacks on her mother – France's future first lady- "abhorrent" as she hit back at critics.
She said: "I find abhorrent in France in the 21st century such attacks, which would not be carried out against a male politician or a male companion of a female politician."
"So I think there's a lot of jealousy, and that this is very inappropriate
"On the ground, on the contrary, I meet people who admire what she does, her work, her involvement.

On Sunday, French Republican party lawmaker Jacques Domerge joked on Facebook: "We have a new president who is a younger model of the previous one.
“Except that the previous one lived with a women who was his daughter's age and the new one with a woman who is his mother's age."
And on Wednesday, satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo carried a cartoon showing 39-year-old Emmanuel Macron resting a hand on the pregnant stomach of his wife, with the caption: "He's going to work miracles!"

Tiphaine Auzière has now launched her own career in politics
Ms Auzière issued the impassioned defence of her mother as she launched her own political career this week.
The youngest of Ms Trogneux's three children from her first marriage, Ms Auzière has been an active campaigner for her stepfather.
And the keen supporter was also by his side last Sunday, along with her mother, as they celebrated the historic victory against Front National leader and anti-European Union candidate Marine Le Pen.
Miss Auziere will serve as deputy to a parliamentary candidate for Mr Macron's new party – forcing colleagues to brush off complaints that her local political role was proof of "nepotism”.
