The outspoken MEP laughed as the caller delivered the bizarre rant shortly before the Commons voted to allow Theresa May to trigger Article 50.
Mr Farage, who was broadcasting on LBC from Strasbourg after giving a passionate speech in the European Parliament, welcomed the news from Britain after 498 MPs voted in favour of beginning formal Brexit negotiations in the House of Commons.
However, The former Ukip leader’s caller was less than pleased as he launched the hysterical attack.
Nigel Farage slapped down an angry LBC caller who called him a "Remainer"
You remain delivering your evil message across the world
Chris, LBC caller
The caller, known only as Chris, let loose on Mr Farage, suggesting the eurosceptic politician was in fact a “Remainer”.
“You’re a Remainer! You remain delivering your evil message across the world,” he yelled.
Chris added: “What was the woman’s name, from Europe, who scorned you all of those years ago – that turned you against everyone who wasn’t born in the UK?
“You are an evil person my friend…”
But Mr Farage, who was buoyed by the news in Britain, took the abuse in his stride as he offered a quick slap down to his guest.
“Chris, I tell you what mate, I’ve been called lots of things over the years and I will accept almost all of them – rude ones and not so rude ones – but to call me a Remainer, this cuts me to the quick.

British politician Nigel Farage arrives at Trump Tower on December 15, 2016 in New York City. President-elect Donald Trump and his transition team are in the process of filling cabinet and other high level positions for the new administration.
“Chris how can you think I am a Remainer?
“Do you think that applies to the British public – the 52 per cent of them – are they evil too?”
Mr Farage’s rebuke clearly proved too much for Chris, who left the politician speaking down the phone to himself after his guest had hung up.
“Oh, he’s gone. We’ve lost him – but never mind!” concluded the Brexiteer.
