Apple usually makes an early beta version available a few weeks after launch which helps them iron out any bugs.
However, the fully iPhone-ready version probably won't be pushed out until September.

Along with iOS 11, Apple will also be updating its macOS and watchOS operating systems and rumours are rife that the firm is also planning to launch some new hardware including its first ever smart speaker.
This device could take aim at Amazon's Echo speaker which has become hugely popular since it launched last year.
Along with the new speaker it’s also thought new iPad Pro tablets could be revealed at WWDC.
A recent leaked image has given a glimpse of a new 10.5-inch iPad with thinner bezels – meaning a much bigger screen can be squeezed into its aluminium shell.
A brighter display, faster processor and improved Apple Pencil experience are all expected and Apple may even upgrade their hugely popular keyboard case which transforms the tablet into a mini laptop.
Finally it also appears that some new MacBooks could be coming soon.
Apple recently updated its MacBook Pro range which now includes a bigger trackpad and new Touch Bar.
However, many experts believe these machines could get another boost with faster processors and improved battery life.
Apple’s iMac range is also in desperate need of a refresh and this popular desktop computer could be in for some changes at WWDC.
