Fox News presenter Bill O’Reilly got into a heated debate with attorney Geraldo Rivera, Fox News' correspondent-at-large and a qualified attorney, over sources claiming communication between the Trump administration and Vladimir Putin’s team.
Speaking on Fox News, Rivera brought up reports of Trump aides being in touch with Russian intel, but O’Reilly was quick to shoot him down.
O’Reilly said: “You’re doing something un-American. You’re convicting. They have the presumption of innocence and you’re not giving it to them.
“You’re using anonymous sources with no factual backup. What are their names. There are no names on them. You can’t convict on anonymous sources.”

Rivera jumped in to say: "I resent that. I deeply resent that. You don’t need names for Hillary Clinton’s destruction but now suddenly…
“This is an extraordinary thing that just happened. You have a presidential campaign in communication with our arch enemy the Russians.”
Raising his voice, O’Reilly added: “You have no facts. Who in the Trump campaign" I don’t know so therefore I don’t convict.”
O’Reilly also questioned Donald Trump’s motives for asking that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn stand down.

“It’s criminal action, criminal act, and it’s been going on for a long time, before me, but now it’s really going on, and people are trying to cover up for a terrible loss that the Democrats had under Hillary Clinton.
“I think it’s very, very unfair what’s happened to General Flynn, the way he was treated, and the documents and papers that were illegally, I stress that, illegally leaked. Very, very unfair.”
