A new Xbox One update has been released today by Microsoft
The new Xbox One update started rolling out today and includes several new features to help with the organisation of your home screen.
Listed as: OS version: 10.0.15063.2019 (RS2_RELEASE_XBOX_1704.170407-2038) – the new Xbox One patch weighs in at around 500MB for most players.
According to the Microsoft patch notes, the new Xbox One update makes it possible to filter games, alter activity feed options and fiddle with the Narrator and Magnifier settings.
Microsoft on Activity feed options: “Not sure you want a particular post showing up in your activity feed? Hide it. Select the post, then select Options > Hide. Or maybe you only want to see certain types of posts. Go to the top of your feed and select the filter button, then choose your preferences.
“If there’s a post you really want other people to see, pin it to the top of the activity feed in your profile or a club. Select the post, then select Options > Pin to club. You’ll see your post pinned to the top until someone unpins or replaces it.

Using your favorite Looking for Group posts: “Press the Xbox button and go to Parties > View history to see Looking for Group posts you’ve created or expressed interest in, then choose a post to use it again.”
Games Filter: “In your games and apps, choose whether to see all games, games made for Xbox One, or just your Xbox 360 games that work on Xbox One. This works on both the games you’ve installed and anything in your list of games that are ready to install.”
New Narrator and Magnifier setting: “Choose a voice pitch and personality for Narrator readouts while you’re using Xbox One. When you’re viewing screens with Magnifier, the zoomed-in part of your screen now follows your controller navigation so you don’t need to keep turning Magnifier on and off. Review your new options in Settings > Ease of Access.”

Black Ops 2 on Xbox One has been the number one game everyone has wanted for the Backwards Compatibility program.
Having had to wait over a year and seen around 215K votes submitted for its inclusion, fans finally got their wish yesterday.
And having successfully released one of the most sought after Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games, company chief Phil Spencer also commented on the impact of Black Ops 2 on Xbox One.
"It's been nice to see Xbox gamers going to play one of the iconic COD games, great response," Spencer replied to one fan.
It was in response to one fans comment on social media, regarding the increased player count for the title.
It appears that Black Ops 2 being made part of the Xbox Spring Sale 2017 has really helped boost its player numbers.
Black Ops 2 on Xbox One currently includes over 70,000 people playing the game and it's likely this number will rise over the coming days.
