A woman was knocked out and sexually assaulted in an underground car park in Southend
A group of men approached the 18-year-old woman as she walked in Southend at around 2.30am today.
The men spoke to the victim as she walked close to a roundabout near to the Kursaal along the seafront in the early hours of Good Friday.
Essex Police say the woman got into a black car belonging to one of suspects who attempted to kiss her.
The suspect is described aged in his early to mid-20s with dark black hair and was wearing a black tracksuit. We are currently treating this an isolated incident
Officers say the woman pushed the man away before she was then assaulted, knocked unconscious and then attacked.
When she woke, she made her way home from the underground car park near Woodgrange Drive.
Three male cyclists then spoke to the victim and helped her after the attack.

Essex Police said: “We would particularly like to talk to three male cyclists in the area who spoke with and assisted the victim shortly after the attack.
“The suspect is described aged in his early to mid-20s with dark black hair and was wearing a black tracksuit. We are currently treating this an isolated incident.”
