Silvia Schmidt, 49, took the pooch's still warm corpse and laid it outside her front door.

Then she pinned a note to Gizmo's body which claimed the neighbours in the village of Gratkorn – with whom she had been feuding – killed him.
"Still warm and tumble dry!" read the missive.
She complained to police and blamed the neighbours she hated for killing Gizmo, her 15-year-old son's pet.
