Why Manchester United transfer deal with Everton collapsed
MANCHESTER UNITED have agreed to sell Memphis Depay to Lyon for a fee that could rise to £21.7million.
Depay arrived at Manchester United in 2015 expected to take the Premier League by storm.
However, he toiled under Louis van Gaal as the club won the FA Cup last season.
His struggles have since been magnified following the appointment of Jose Mourinho as manager in the summer.

Everton were only willing to sign him on loan having splashed out £24million on Morgan Schneiderlin.
Ronald Koeman harboured doubts over his attitude and Mourinho wanted a permanent resolution to the transfer saga.
Depay joins Lyon but the possibility of a return has not been ruled out, with the club inserting a buy-back clause into his contract.
