Ozil's Arsenal contract is up at the end of next season and he is yet to agree on an extension with the north London club.
The German's Gunners team-mate Alexis Sanchez also sees his current deal expire at the same time and has been linked with moves to the likes of Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
Ozil, however, has not attracted much interest apart from Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Schwarzer believes the playmaker is world class but the likes of Barcelona and former club Real Madrid wouldn't want to sign him due to the way he acts on the pitch.

Mark Schwarzer on Arsenal star Mesut Ozil
"When you look at Ozil's stats since he's been at Arsenal, his assist stats are right up there," the former Chelsea goalkeeper said on talkSPORT.
"People are saying he hasn't performed well and I was the same on a number of occasions throughout the season, he just looked a shadow of himself. But the stats back it up that he's actually had a decent season again, another good season.
"I think his biggest problem is his body language, he's talked about it throughout the season and the latter part of the season, saying that's who he is, that's how he plays and he won't change.

Mesut Ozil has helped Arsenal win FA Cups in his four years at the club
"There's no doubting Mesut Ozil has those qualities, it's just that he doesn't, even though I said his stats are there and he does produce enough, but it's the whole round picture.
"He hasn't got the body language, he has that perception that he's not trying.
"That works really against him and when you're talking about the elite of the elite, when you're talking about the top levels, your Real Madrids, Barcelonas, Bayern Munichs, clubs are going to be less interested in those kind of players."
