Mrs May's appearance alongside her husband Philip gave viewers some insight into what happens behind the doors of the May household.
But the Labour leader has been clear about separating his personal life from his political work. His marriage is likely to stay off the agenda tonight.
Who is Jeremy Corbyn’s wife?
Mr Corbyn, 68, is married to Laura Alvarez, 48, a Mexican-born human rights lawyer who has kept well out the limelight since he became Labour leader.
Not much is known about their marriage in 2013, but Ms Alvarez’s older sister Marcela has shed some light on how the couple met and fell in love.
Mr Corbyn met his future wife when he helped in a four-year search for Marcela’s daughter Jasmin who had been abducted by her estranged husband.
In 2015 Marcela told the Mail on Sunday: "Without his assistance I would never have been reunited with Jasmin. Because of our case he met my sister and they fell in love.

When interviewed for a Vice News documentary, Laura was asked if she was proud of her husband.
"Yes I am, I think he's a good politician," she replied. "He's not very good at housework but he's a good politician.”
She also praised him for standing “very strong" when former Prime Minster David Cameron told him to put on a “proper suit” at PMQs.
Ms Alvarez is understood to share her husband’s political views but stays out of the political spotlight.

Who are Jeremy Corbyn’s ex-wives?
Mr Corbyn married his first wife Professor Jane Chapman in 1974. Their marriage only lasted five years before the couple separated.
In 2015 she told the Daily Mail: “We didn’t do things that I liked such as going to the cinema or to clubs… I wanted a different work-life balance.”
In the late 1970s Mr Corbyn had a brief relationship with Diane Abbott, who is now shadow home secretary.
Then in 1987 he married Claudia Bracchitta from Chile and went on to have three children with her.

Their marriage fell apart in 1999 over a row about sending their son Ben to a grammar school. Mr Corbyn opposes grammar schools but his wife insisted that their son must go to one.
At the time, Ms Bracchitta said: "I am concerned Jeremy has been portrayed as a hard-left MP who couldn't care about his children, which is absolutely not the truth.
“I was put across as the pushy parent who wanted a grammar school place for her son and nothing else.
“It isn't a story about making a choice but about having no choice. I couldn't send Ben to a school where I knew he wouldn't be happy.”
