Philippe Coutinho put pen to paper on a new £150,000-a-week contract earlier today, keeping him at Anfield until 2022.

And the Liverpool Echo say Jurgen Klopp wants to give both Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren new deals.

The former Southampton duo still have two years to run on their current contracts but Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer them extensions.

Lallana is enjoying his best year on Merseyside since joining from the Saints in 2014.

The 28-year-old has seven goals and seven assists for Liverpool in the Premier League this season and has scored in England's last three matches.

Klopp is also keen to tie Lovren down to a new deal at Anfield after overcoming a difficult start to his career at Liverpool.

One player whose contract talks have hit a stumbling block over the past few months is Emre Can.

Despite the midfielder being confident back in November that a new contract would be sorted soon, the club and his representatives are yet to reach an agreement.

"Yes, the club have spoken to my agent," Can told the Liverpool Echo.

"The talks are going very good. I have one-and-a-half years left. I am still under contract and it is my agent's work (to sort it out). I am very happy here at Liverpool."
