What will happen in The Walking Dead season 7?
Showrunner Scott Gimple has promised that the second half of the season will be “very different” to the first eight episodes, which drew middling reviews.
Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, has said that he is disappointed at the lukewarm reception.
“Obviously I’ve heard that people are not happy and that makes me unhappy because of the amount of work we all put into the show,” he told The Wrap.
“There is a sense of a bigger story that’s being told and I have absolute faith in Scott, the writing team, and the producers of the show.
“But I will say that I think the back eight are the exact opposite of the front eight.”
Daryl is in kill mode, he's ready to fight
Norman Reedus has said that his character Daryl, who escaped from Negan’s Sanctuary in the mid-season finale, will be out for revenge in the new episodes.
“He’s ready to fight,” he explained. “When he goes back in that last episode and hands Rick back his stuff, it was like: ’Let’s go! Let’s go beat this guy up. Let’s go take what’s ours and fight this monster.’
“So, you know, he’s in kill mode.”

The Walking Dead season 7 spoiler: Rick betrayed as he declares to 'all out war' on Negan
An official synopsis has revealed that the remainder of season seven will see the survivors “preparing for war and gathering the supplies and numbers to take Negan down once and for all”.
To defeat the baseball-bat-slinging villain, Rick will need to convince the Kingdom and the Hilltop to join his revolution.
AMC have teased: “To convince them otherwise will take more than speeches. The lengths Rick and the group will have to go to in order to find weapons, food and new fighters is nothing short of remarkable.
“We’ll meet new survivors in incredible places. We’ll see Rick and the group tested in ways we’ve never seen before. We'll see treachery from people we trust.
“Rick is confident as he will see his group and many others band together with the common goal of taking down Negan. But no amount of planning will prepare the group for all-out war with Negan and his army.”
