Michail Antonio is set to sign a new contract at West Ham
Antonio has been one of the rare bright sparks in a poor season so far for West Ham.
The 26-year-old is the Hammers’ top scorer with eight Premier League goals and has turned provider too, offering all three assists in their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Antonio was called up to the England squad under former boss Sam Allardyce and has also found his way on to Antonio Conte’s Chelsea radar.

But according to The Guardian, interest from Chelsea has prompted West Ham to secure the forward on a new five-and-a-half-year deal worth £70,000 a week.
The contract doubles Antonio’s current £35,000-a-week wage and sees him commit his future to the club until 2022.
Antonio joined West Ham in September 2015 from Nottingham Forest for around £7m, having made his name with non-league club Tooting and Mitcham United.

West Ham’s move to tie down Antonio comes as star player Dimitri Payet inches closer to a move to Marseille.
Karren Brady, the clubs vice-chairman, made a thinly-veiled dig at Payet when she explained how Antonio overcame flu to shine against Palace.
“Michail Antonio was in bed with flu yesterday, got out of bed pulled on his shirt & played magnificently today – that's dedication for you,” Brady just after full-time on Saturday.
