Speaking on This Morning, Lyn said that she was "very angry" that Michael had found a lawyer to represent him as he plans to sue prison officers after a brawl led to him losing his teeth.
Lee's family told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that they were disgusted by his request for compensation.
Lyn noted that Michael can get false teeth to replace the ones he lost but she can never have her son back.
She explained: "We're very angry and it hurts a lot. He's lost two teeth of his own fault kicking off or whatever, but you can replace teeth, we can never replace Lee.
"It's blood money, that's how I see it. To me, it's like he's taken Lee away from us, he killed him in horrific circumstances, and now he wants paying for it.
