Siri is bringing the love to your iPhone this Valentines Day
Valentines Day is upon us, with couples and lovebirds across the world showering the object of their affection with gifts and loving words.
But there's no reason your smartphone shouldn't play a key role in this day of love – and luckily Apple has endowed Siri with a selection of Valentines Day upgrades.
Siri will now give special themed answers to some of the biggest questions you may have on Valentines Day – meaning that even if your date cancels on you tonight, you won't end up alone.

We already know how good Siri can be at everyday tasks such as making dinner reservations and reminding you about appointments, but on Valentines Day this is reportedly also stepping up a notch.
The app can now recommend suitably romantic restaurants to head to later tonight, as well as reminding you to pick up those flowers you ordered for that special someone, or even build a special romantic playlist.
If you need to work on your seduction, Siri can also provide some pun-filled chat-up lines, including such science-themed zingers as "Is your name Bluetooth? because I'm feeling a connection" and "I'm attracted to you like the Earth is attracted to the Sun – with a large force inversely proportional to the distance squared".
Siri can even help you with chat-up lines this year
But that's not all Siri has in store this Valentines Day.
When asked, "Who is your valentine?", the response was a somewhat-morose "Sadly, I have not yet been assigned a 'Valentine'

Unfortunately, this appeared to kill the mood somewhat, as when Express.co.uk then asked Siri if it would go out with us tonight, the response was sadly in the negative, with Siri saying she had, "a subsequent engagement".

The updates are the latest themed releases for Siri as Apple looks to expand its smart assistant.
The app got a Superbowl-themed expansion for the big game earlier this month, providing football fans with a wealth of statistics and information.
Siri could also be about to get even more intelligent with the release of the iPhone 8 set for later this year.
Reports have suggested that the new device will include “enhanced Siri” thanks to an all-new Artificial Intelligence platform.
Apple opened up Siri to third-party developers earlier this year as it looked to expand the reach of its voice assistant.
This includes moving Siri on to Mac devices for the first time as part of macOS Sierra, where it is easily accessible from the Dock, menu bar or keyboard.
