In a soundcheck released today, Sir Cliff put his trouble with the broadcaster to one side to belt out the new tune – his 147th single to date.
Dancing around, the crooner looked to be having a great time and he couldn’t stop smiling after joining forces with the American group.

Speaking ahead of his set, Sir Cliff revealed: “I love playing here, it’s my favourite place to play.
“I love going to other countries and places – where people like you, you always feel good – but the Albert Hall has history, it’s a very prestigious place.”

Sir Cliff went on to cheekily add: “No one else is going to say this but, I do hold the record here. I played 32 nights sold out!”

Meanwhile, last week a judge told BBC bosses to give the star more information about how a journalist learned that he was being investigated as a result of a sexual assault allegation.
Mr Justice Mann ruled that they must tell Sir Cliff whether the source of information was someone working on a wider Metropolitan Police inquiry, an investigation codenamed Operation Yewtree.
The singer has sued the BBC over coverage of a raid at his apartment in Sunningdale, Berkshire, in August 2014.
