The attack reportedly took place at the Stureby metro station
Witnesses said the attacker assaulted the victims after a brief altercation in the Stureby district, south of the Swedish capital, according to reports.
The authorities are reportedly still searching for the assailant, who fled the scene.
A witness at the scene said the attacker appeared to be highly intoxicated.

Numerous police squads, including a dog patrol, have been deployed in response to the attack, which is being dealt with as an aggravated assault.
Jens Mårtensson, of Stockholm Police, said: “It started in a subway car and then continued on the platform.
“We still have a number of patrols out looking for the culprit or culprits.”

She added: “It’s lucky it happened in the subway where there are cameras and a good chance to get the person or persons in the picture.”
The victims, both men in their 20s, received minor injuries from the attack and were helped by police.

The two had been stabbed in the legs, according to Ms Mårtensson.
Swedish police are treating the incident as an aggravated assault
Crime in Sweden garnered international media attention recently after Donald Trump alluded to the problems created by the country’s migration policy during a rally in Florida.
The US President said: “Sweden, they took in large numbers, they are having problems like they never thought possible.”
Crime in the Swedish city of Malmö in particular hit crisis levels in January, prompting the city’s police chief to urge citizens to assist them in solving violent offences.
