The woman was standing among anti-Trump demonstrators who were chanting “love Trumps hate” when she was targeted.
Although the protest seemed to begin peacefully, things soon turned ugly when the woman’s hair was set ablaze.
A video of the incident, which was filmed after Donald Trump’s inauguration, emerged over the weekend.

This is what Democracy looks like
It begins with both supporters of the president and anti-Trump demonstrators gathered in a large crowd – before chanting breaks out.
Protesters can be heard shouting: “This is what Democracy looks like,” “Love Trumps hate,” and “No justice, no peace.”
As the Trump loyalist, wearing a blue hat and white t-shirt in support of the president, turns her back to the crowd to have her picture taken, her brown hair is torched.

As she walks away, another fast-reacting pro-Trump demonstrator spots her burning hair and is quickly put out.
The video, uploaded to YouTube, then shows a slow-motioned version of the assault.
A hand can be seen holding a lighter extending through the crowd, before the woman’s hair is set upon.
