Tree surgeon Gregery Bulbuc died in a tragic chainsaw accident
Gregery Bulbuc, 31, died when his chainsaw "kicked back" into his neck and he was left dangling 21 feet in the air on his rope, his brother said.
The Romanian dad was pronounced dead at the scene in Bermondsey, south east London.
He was working for company Aralia Tree Services while trimming a tree in a private back garden.
Emergency services rushed to the scene but were unable to save the father-of-one who was a week away from celebrating his 32nd birthday.
I looked and he was slumped over and hanging
The alarm was raised after a neighbour saw Gregory "slouched and hanging" from the tree.
The woman, who did not wish to be named, said: "It was before lunchtime.
"My daughter was going out, she saw him and she said: 'You need to come out Mum, there's a man in the tree.'
"I looked and he was slumped over and hanging.
"I'd come out about 20 minutes earlier and I had heard the noise of the chainsaw.
"But you could tell it wasn't cutting anything, it was just on.

"It was either wrapped around him or hanging from the tree or something, but it was just making that noise.
"It wasn't making contact with anything.
"I couldn't see any blood, I didn't have my glasses on. I just saw him hanging from the tree.
"I thought he had been electrocuted or something, but I thought he was dead.
"I think his head was still attached to his body."
Forensics continued to scour the scene hours later as friends and family arrived.

Fighting back tears, he said: "He was the perfect brother.
"He was a dad, he has one boy who is one-years-old.
"We lived together in the same house in Beckenham.
"We are both Romanian and my brother was here from around 2001-2002, a long time.

"He was always so happy. He was so happy to have a little boy.
"Gregery's birthday was next week, he was such a happy person."
Ioan added: "The police have told me nothing.
"His boss has told me that he cut something and the chainsaw kicked back.
"It rebounded onto the neck and he didn't fall down at first because of the rope."
He added: "I was working on a tree myself.
"I got a phone call, it was horrible."
"It is the second most dangerous job in the world. It was just a terrible accident."
A ladder, used by Gregery's friends to get his body down remained upright against a tree with a white tent covering the 31-year-old's body in the back garden.
