Chelsea playmaker Dominic Solanke is free to leave the club, with Liverpool keen on signing him.
Solanke, 19, reportedly wants a £50,000-a-week contract to remain at Chelsea, with his current deal expiring in the summer.
He has supposedly told friends that a move to Liverpool is on the cards.
And Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says he cannot stop Solanke leaving.
Solanke's contract at Chelsea expires in the summer
“I don’t know [about his future] I should have a crystal ball to tell you about his future,” Conte said.
“For now he is at Chelsea, I don’t know about his future. Is he leaving? I don’t know, I think this is his will.
“It is best to ask him [why]. I think for a young player to stay in a great team like Chelsea is a great opportunity.
“You have have to respect his decision new messages.
“I have spoken with him to try to understand his will. It is normal.
“We must have a great respect for every decision.
“His contract expires in June and he has the full will to stay in Chelsea or to go away.”

Manchester United transfer news
Paul Scholes wants Manchester United to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
United are battling with Chelsea to land France star Griezmann in the summer.
The Red Devils could lose Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford before the start of next term.
And former player Scholes wants manager Jose Mourinho to go out and get Griezmann.
“If Griezmann is within reach, why wouldn’t we take advantage and try to sign him, especially if our youngsters aren’t at the level we need?” Scholes told German football magazine kicker.
“At United, there is always a lot of pressure to win the Premier League and the Champions League.”

Real Madrid transfer news
Real Madrid could offload goalkeeper Keylor Navas onto Lazio in order to pave the way to signing either Tibaut Courtois or David De Gea.
That is according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, who claim Lazio are open to a deal for Navas.
The report suggests that Real are seeking new club for their current No 1 in order to then go after Chelsea star Courtois or United’s De Gea.
The Bernabeu club failed in 2015 to sign De Gea after agreeing a fee with United, while Courtois was linked with a move to La Liga last summer.
