The talented midfielder has been linked with a mega-money move to Old Trafford.

"He’s been one of Inter’s most important players over the past two seasons," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He’s got energy, and is always dangerous in attack and he’s a serious guy.
"I cannot believe that it’s possible for Inter to want to sell him.
"If you make a decision like this then it’s obvious you know very little about football.
"For me it’s an absurd choice if they believe both tactically and technically that Perisic should not stay in this team."

He told talkSPORT: “Lukaku had a promise that if certain clubs came this summer that he could leave this summer.
“We are not in concrete talks with anybody at this moment.
“If the price is right for Everton and the project is right for Lukaku then I think he will want to make another step but we are not there yet.
“At that moment we decided not to sign the contract but I have to say the relationship with the club is very good and we knew if someone would come and satisfy Everton then there is a possibility that he leaves.”

"Every footballer is their own world and one must make these kind of decisions. Sometimes they are difficult and sometimes they are not.
“Everyone has to decide where he wants to be, where he is going to be happy. He is a great striker and obviously the top clubs express interest in getting their services. He can decide what he wants."
