Jurgen Klopp has warned Liverpool supporters not to expect their transfer business to be done quickly this summer.
He said: "I wish tomorrow (to have signings completed) but unfortunately that's not really likely.
"The best scenario is that you have them for the start of pre-season but I'm not sure if it will happen this time. It's different with all different players so we will see.
"That's not a big problem because we all know if they are fit and healthy we have a really strong squad and that means we could start with this squad. But that doesn't mean that I would prefer this, I would love to have them in as soon as possible."

Manchester United have set their sights on signing one of three defenders – Michael Keane, Virgil van Dijk or Victor Lindelof.
According to Sky Sports, United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to spend big to strengthen his defence in the summer.
And he has targeted Premier League duo Keane and Van Dijk and Benfica's Lindelof.
Keane has one year left on his Burnley contract, Southampton have placed a £50m price tag on Van Dijk and Lindelof was close to joining United in January.

Arsenal striker Lucas Perez has been offered a £3.3m-a-year contract by Fenerbahce, according to reports.
The Spanish forward has been unable to break into Arsenal's team regularly due to competition for places and injuries.
Turkish outlet Sporx say Fenerbahce are keen on signing Perez who has expressed his displeasure at his lack of opportunities since arriving in the summer from Deportivo La Coruna.
