Chelsea are considering an £8m move to sign Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow

Newcastle could be set to lose Karl Darlow to Chelsea in the summer.

That is according to the Sunday Mirror, who claim the Blues will make an £8million offer to bring him to Stamford Bridge.

It is claimed Blues manager Antonio Conte is keen on securing a deal for Darlow after talking to his backroom staff about the goalkeeper.

Chelsea failed to offload Asmir Begovic in January after missing out on Celtic stopper Craig Gordon and were warned by the Magpies that Darlow was not for sale.

But it is said the Blues will go back in for him in the summer to replace Begovic and provide competition for first choice stopper Thibaut Courtois.

Aston Villa are interested in signing Blackpool winger Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The 19-year-old has impressed for the League Two outfit this season, scoring two goals in 27 appearances.

And the Sun on Sunday claim his talents have not gone unnoticed with Aston Villa keen on securing his services.

Osayi-Samuel's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, but Blackpool have an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.

However, with interest mounting from Villa and also Premier League side Everton he could be on his way out.
