Michael Blanchard died after a paragliding accident in Nepal
Michael Blanchard, 67, had been in Nepal for the thrill seeking adventure of a lifetime when he crash landed during a paragliding ride.
Mr Blanchard, of Ruthin, North Wales, was paragliding in the picturesque Kaski district around 120 miles from the capital Kathmandu.
The company director is believed to have been flying solo when the tragic accident happened.

He was rushed to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
His wife Miriam, who owns and runs a pharmacy in Ruthin, Wales is being comforted by friends and relatives, according to reports.

A Foreign and Commonwealth Office spokeswoman said: "We are supporting the family of a British man who sadly died in Nepal on January 22."
The tourist’s death has sparked criticism of the Civil Aviation Authority in Pokhara which gives permission for tourists to fly solo.

Ruthin county councillor David Smith said: “I know his wife Miriam, who is a businesswoman.
“It really is sad news for the town and she has got the full sympathy and support of the community.”
The cause of the fatal incident remains unclear.
