Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping Tottenham can get back to winning ways after two successive draws

Tottenham are without Danny Rose due to a knee injury and Jan Vertonghen is a long-term absentee.

Kieran Trippier and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou are also out but Hugo Lloris returns in goal after illness.

Middlesbrough have George Friend and Gaston Ramirez missing, while Calum Chambers is doubtful with a foot problem.

New signing Adlene Guedioura is named on the bench.

Tottenham Hotspur are in the process of building a new 61,000 capacity stadium on the site of White Hart Lane, due to open at the start of the 2018/19 season

Aitor Karanka said: "We travel to Tottenham in a really positive frame of mind.

"It's another tough game against one of the best teams in the league who are genuine title contenders.

"We were playing in the Championship last season and we are on the same points as Leicester today, so I am really positive looking at the table and looking at the team and their attitude."
