The club’s record signing has not played since October’s EFL Cup loss to Liverpool.

Spurs were hoping to have the Argentine back from Italy by now to help them in their Premier League title challenge.
But Pochettino admits the playmaker is no closer to making a full recovery.
"Now we start to be concerned about him because he is three months and still in a situation that has not moved on,” Pochettino said.

"Tomorrow he will have a scan. Still it is difficult to give the time that he can come back.
“We need to wait until tomorrow because there are still some problems, and we are still not sure of the diagnosis."
Asked if Lamela would need an operation, Pochettino replied: “Today the Italian doctor does not advise it.
“It’s better to wait tomorrow for a new scan.”
