Who are the favourites to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal?
The 43-year-old German played down the speculation on Friday, claiming he was unaware of any contact.
And now Dortmund chief executive Watzke has revealed there is categorically no truth in the rumours, suggesting the club will look to renew his deal in the summer.
"It is a fact that nobody from Arsenal called us. We're taking about completely fictional stuff here," he said.

"Some day in May we will sit down and analyse this season. He is still under contract here for another year.
"That's why I don't understand all the speculation."
Wenger, who took charge at Arsenal in 1996, is yet to decide wether to extend his stay at Emirates but is said to have a two-year deal on the table.
