The presenter was informing viewers about what would be coming up on today’s instalment when the cute canine decided to steal the spotlight.
His wife and co-host Ruth Langsford told those watching at home that they would be joining Trinny Woodall for a fashion segment later in the show.
However, she was interrupted when Eamonn was dragged away by Luna causing the run-down to be cut short.
Ruth began laughing as she told viewers: “Sorry, Eamonn’s being taken for a walk. Luna is just taking Eamonn for a walk.”
The camera then cut to Eamonn struggling to control the pooch as she wandered around the set pulling the presenter along behind her.

He could be heard sighing: “There must have been food left around here or somewhere.”
It came after the couple had interviewed The Handmaid’s Tale star Elisabeth Moss about the television series which has just begun on Channel 4.
The actress said that the book on which the show is based had “become my bible” and she learned a lot about her character from the text.
However she did admit to trying to get extra details from writer Margaret Atwood, explaining: “I tried to ask her some dumb interview questions and got some answers but discovered it was all in the book, it was my bible.”
