Ross McCormack looks set to leave Aston Villa after just five months
The 30-year-old has been exiled from Aston Villa's first-team and has been forced to train with the under-23s after Steve Bruce grew tired of his excuses for skipping training.
McCormack has since been linked with a move away from Villa Park with Championship rivals Nottingham Forest and Norwich apparently interested.

And White, who hosts Sky's transfer deadline day coverage, reckons McCormack should apologise for his conduct to manager Steve Bruce.
But he insists his career at Villa has reached its end because of a lack of apology and poor conduct.
"Well, I mean it's just bizarre beyond words isn't it?" White told the Birmingham Mail.

"Ross McCormack I think has had problems with punctuality and discipline.
"And quite simply he's got himself in a fix here and only Ross McCormack can get out of it.
"It's my understanding that he's missed training five times now and on one of the occasions now famously blamed the electric gate that he couldn't get out

"It's laughable, put it that way. And we're talking about one of the most established, wonderful, most dignified clubs in English football.

"So I think he's living on borrowed time, he's training with the under 23s, again – as far as I'm led to believe – an apology might go some way to solving it with Steve Bruce, the players and the club.
"But no apology is forthcoming and nor will it be so I think there's only one road for Ross McCormack and that's the road out.
"I'm disappointed in McCormack because he's Scottish, I'm Scottish and I would have liked to have seen him do well at a football club that I really like."
McCormack has scored three goals in 23 appearances for Villa this season and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2020.
