But Spanish publication AS claim Barcelona chiefs are planning to sign Isco.
Isco's contract at Madrid expires in 2018, meaning the Spanish giants have just one summer transfer window to cash in on him.
Barcelona want to sign him sooner rather than later but know Madrid are likely to block any attempts to prise him away.

Therefore, it is claimed the Catalan giants will instead wait for his contract to run out before snapping him up.
The last player to move from one club to the other was Javier Saviola.
The 35-year-old joined Madrid after leaving Barcelona as a free agent back in 2007.
