The 26-year-old sat out the Blues’ last game as they beat Stoke 2-1 before the international break.
However, he is said to be winning the race to be fit to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (3pm).

Hazard’s future has been much-publicised of late with Real Madrid pursuing a world-record summer move.
And Nevin feels the time away from football will have helped re-energise Chelsea’s key man ahead of the season run-in.
“Eden Hazard might be winning his battle for fitness for the game against Palace, so the recovery time probably did him some good in the end,” Nevin wrote in his column for Chelsea’s website.
“The Belgians would have liked him to be available for their 1-1 draw against Greece, but that would have been pushing it I reckon.
