Arsene Wenger is under immense pressure at Arsenal with supporters calling for him to go at the end of the season.
The Frenchman's contract expires in June and many fans would like to see Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone take his place.
The Argentinian manager is currently at 10/1 with the bookies to take the job, but Spanish football expert Guillem Balague thinks it would be a poor appointment.
"I do not know why so many Arsenal fans feel that this would be a good idea," Balague said in a Sky Sports Q&A.
"It is like people do not realise what Arsenal have been building under Arsene Wenger… it would be like taking the team in a different direction.
"Would Simeone make them competitive? For sure. Would he make them play in the way the fans are used to? Definitely not.

Juventus boss Massimo Allegri is the bookies' favourite at 4/1, with Eddie Howe and Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel also in the running.
