Thierry Henry has admitted he poked N'Golo Kante to check he was real
N'Golo Kante has gone from strength to strength since joining Chelsea from Leicester last summer.
The 25-year-old has been an ever-present for Antonio Conte's table-topping side, making 24 Premier League appearances.
And Sky Sports pundit Thierry Henry has revealed he recently had to poke the Frenchman when he bumped into him at the Blues' Cobham training ground – just to check he was real.
N'Golo Kante could be PFA Player of the Year, claims Thierry Henry
"I was at the Chelsea training ground last week to see Eden Hazard and noticed N’Golo Kante wandering back to the changing rooms," Henry told The Sun.
"So I went over to him and stood in front of him and I poked him in the chest.
"I had to, just to check if he was real! 'You are real, you are!' I said, and he laughed."

And Henry had further praise for Kante, claiming he could be named PFA Player of the Year.
"Well, he may be real — but he’s certainly not normal," Henry added.
"And I see no reason why he shouldn’t be PFA Player of the Year at the end of the season."
