Filming for The Walking Dead season eight is now well underway as Rick Grimes (played Andrew Lincoln) and his pack take down Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
And it seems fans won’t even be given a chance to breathe as Steven Ogg – who plays Savior, Simon – promised the highly-anticipated premiere, which also marks the zombie epic’s 100th episode, will be one of the most explosive instalments to date.
“I mean, I really didn't think about the 100 thing so much as it's, where it says it's all-out war, you definitely get that,” he told ComicBook.com.
"Oh yeah. It's all-out war," he added. "[It's] a big, big show."

Simon’s tantalising comments come after showrunner Denise Huth revealed the milestone episode will include a “tonne of action”.
Assuring The Walking Dead fans that the season eight opener will be “worth the wait”, she enthused: "I think it will be really, really satisfying.
"As a fan of the show – and I am a fan of the show – when I read it, it was like, 'Awww, I can't wait! It's going to be great!'"

Though, Denise stressed that despite the bloodbath, season eight will be a far lighter affair than its previous cycle.
"It's like night and day compared to how we had to start last year," she said. "[The actors] all came back so super excited, and it's a big year…
"There's just a sense of excitement, because the characters aren't in that dark, down place."
The Walking Dead is expected to return later this year.
