Now, it seems executive producer Greg Nicotero has just dropped a major spoiler about an upcoming episode as he shared a behind-the-scenes video.
Taking to Instagram, he posted a short clip of a walker slowly moving through a wooded area and passing a sign pinned to a tree, which reads: “Rabbit season.”
It is not yet known what that means but on closer inspection the slate used to mark the shot has Rabbit Season scrawled across it.
Could this be the name of one of the episodes in The Walking Dead season 8?

The behind-the-scenes clip comes after show runner Scott M. Gimple said there’s “not a vast gulf” between Rick (played by Andrew Lincoln) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Speaking of the similarities between the enemies, he noted: “I think if we followed Negan, we might even be in the same place that we are with Rick where we’re like, ‘Whoa. What you’re doing there seems like the behaviour of a bad person’.
“What’s interesting is, I think for Rick’s experience, he’s justified in what he’s doing.
“The world has formed him this way, and what he’s done has generally been a reaction to being threatened and trying to make sure his people live.”

Scott went on to add to ComicBook.com: “Things are getting greyer and greyer and greyer.
“But I think the things that Rick has done, you can hold up against the things that Negan has done and it’s not a vast gulf between those two, but the way that they operate is very different.”
The Walking Dead is set to return later this year.
