In the 15 second clip, the star of the show Prairie Johnson (played by Brit Marling) is heard crying "Homer".
Speaking this morning, creator and star Brit said she had always envisioned a second series.

The first season of the psychological thriller was a huge hit with viewers when it was released in December and so it was always thought a second would be commissioned.
The last episode ended on a dramatic cliffhanger as Prairie woke up in a white room calling out "Homer".

Was The OA telling the truth?
It remains to be seen whether she had travelled through a portal into another dimension or if her story was in fact all a lie.
Co-creator Zal Batmanglij teased: “Maybe she couldn’t tell her story as it actually happened, but she experienced something.
“I don’t think the details matter. I think that there are lots of different interpretations. I think that’s what’s going to make it fun, if people do connect to it.”
