The 36-year-old cycling legend was due to compete in the snow cross race tonight with fellow stars Louis Smith, Robbie Fowler and Mark Dolan.
Sir Bradley was asked by presenter Davina McCall how he felt about missing out on the battle.
He said: "I'm disappointed I'd love to be out there with the boys.
"I'm just hopeful I can stay in the competition and be back next week."
