The 51-year-old brain box proved to be on fire after he knocked out each player in the head-to-head rounds of the ITV teatime quiz show.
Host Bradley Walsh was left shocked after The Beast took out his team, leading to a swift break as the team had to select once player to return and represent the team in the final round.
They chose actor Andy from London, who managed to get 13 steps ahead in the final round after answering 12 questions correctly.
However, The Beast was clearly reinvigorated from the summer break and took down the contestant in one clean sweep as he got each of his questions right.
His victory, meant that the team lost out on the £1,000 that they may have potentially bagged and all four of the players were sent home empty-handed.
Afterwards Bradley, 56, commiserated his team and told them: “A valiant effort. Tough on your own, it really, really is. I thoroughly enjoyed playing alongside you.”
