Police, troops and civilians were targeted in the Thailand terror attacks
Three others were wounded in the horrific violence this evening, which took place in 13 districts in the south of the country.
Among those targeted were police, troops and civilians – but no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Seven of the attacks took place in Narathiwat, with grenades being thrown at checkpoints, houses and businesses.

A spokesman for the country's security agency said: "This is the work of people who want to cause chaos.
"It looks like their intention wasn't to kill but rather to cause disorder."
The number of casualties has yet to be officially confirmed.

No Britons are believed to have been affected in tonight's attack, but the Home Office website warns of a high terror risk in Thailand.
It warns tourists: "You should follow the advice of the local authorities, monitor local media reports and remain vigilant."
More than 6,500 people have died in separatist violence in the region since 2004, when resistance to Buddhist rule flared up.

Talks between the Thai government and a handful of insurgent groups began in 2013 under Yingluck Shinawatra's government.
But they have stalled since the military overthrew her in 2014.
