The former "It girl" had been battling a brain tumour before she was discovered by her Portuguese cleaner in her home shortly before 2pm.
It's claimed that the workmen renovating the apartment below were alerted about Tara's death after they heard the 31-year-old maid crying, minutes before she rung the flat's alarm.
The builders later revealed that they had not heard anything from Tara, 45, since Friday, when a "loud bang" sounded from her property.

"We’d hear her walking around up there," a builder told The Sun.
"But last Friday we heard a very loud bang in the afternoon — like someone or something falling over. We hadn’t seen her or heard her since then."
Police said Tara’s death is being treated as “unexplained” but are currently not treating it as “suspicious”.

Opening up about the illness, Tara confessed: "I went to the doctor to talk about my latest blood test results when I got back from skiing in January.
"I said, 'What does it mean? Can you translate it?' And the doctor said, 'As I suspected, you have a brain tumour'.
Further tests showed the TV personality was also suffering from a rare auto-immune condition, related to her anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA-related), meaning abnormal antibodies attack the body's cells and tissues.

Prince Charles – Tara's god-father – led the tributes to the socialite and said he was "deeply saddened" by her death.
In a statement issued by Clarence House, their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall said: "We are deeply saddened and our thoughts are so much with the family."
One of her best friends, Blue’s Duncan James wrote on Twitter: “Heartbroken and numb I have lost one of my oldest and dearest friends. I'm going to miss ur laughter the most shmooey. Rip sweetheart.”
