Susanna Reid took a swipe at Piers Morgan during today's Good Morning Britain
True to form, the 46-year-old journalist didn’t hold back when it came to giving her co-star a piece of her mind, particularly when Piers claimed he was a “feminist”.
Despite disparaging the women who marched for their rights in light of President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Piers couldn’t help but remark on the number of women who supported his remarks on social media.
"I have to say, a lot of women agree with me,” he said. “It doesn’t mean you don’t support women’s rights. I’m a feminist, don’t choke on your cornflakes, sisters.”
Susanna raised her eyebrows when Piers claimed he was a 'feminist'
If you persistently describe feminists as ‘feminazis’ it ruins your argument.
Protesting that the march “hit the wrong note”, Susanna couldn’t help but pull the star up on unsavoury remarks he made regarding feminists in the past.
“I think the trouble is, if you persistently describe feminists as ‘feminazis’ it ruins your argument,” she slammed, before Piers claimed he only used the term to describe a certain type of feminist.
It looked as though Susanna wasn't alone in her thoughts as many took to Twitter to condemn the 51-year-old.
"@piersmorgan claiming to be a #feminist on #goodmorningbritain this morning is making my blood boil.Which is keeping me warm.So thanks Piers," one viewer fumed.
It comes after Piers and Susanna got into a spat on Twitter yesterday after the broadcaster quipped: “I'm planning a 'Men's March' to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists. Who's with me?"
Naturally, countless of impassioned tweeters immediately caught the bait, and in turn, Piers was faced with his daily dose of backlash on social media, lead by his GMB co-host.

“Are you marching today then?” asked the troublesome presenter.
Elsewhere on the show, Piers took a swipe at Madonna after she claimed that she was considering “blowing up the White House”.
