Ben Jones-Bishop scored a hat-trick of tries as Wakefield moved off the bottom of Super League with an emphatic nine-try win against Hull KR.
Trinity opened up a huge 26-0 lead at the break thanks to tries from Tony Gigot, Reece Lyne and Jones-Bishop.
Jordan Abdull got Rovers off the mark in the second half but Jones-Bishop completed his hat-trick soon after.
Jamie Ellis and Ben Crooks hit back for the visitors before Adam Tangata, Ryan Hampshire and Eddie Battye sealed it.
The result means Wakefield leapfrog Hull KR into 10th in the Super League table and record back-to-back league victories for the first time this season.
Rovers drift to the bottom, with Sunday’s defeat meaning they have won just once in their past eight league games.
The match came in the midst of a busy period of the season for both teams, who were playing for the second time in three days.
Wakefield ended their 10-game losing streak with their win against Huddersfield on Thursday and hit the ground running with a dominant first half display.
And despite Hull KR’s challenging after the break, Wakefield maintained their dominance and pulled off an impressive win.
